Message Number: ARS0177E

Message Text: 'Unable to initialize server environment. rc=1'

What were you doing?

Probably trying to start OnDemand with the arssockd command.

Troubleshooting

Is the database engine up and running?

    db2 start database manager

Is the database activated?

   db2 activate database archive
