<strong>Welcome to the Content Manager OnDemand Wiki at CMOD.wiki.</strong>

Introduction to Content Manager OnDemand ("CMOD")
TOCright

Content Manager OnDemand (simply "OnDemand" or "CMOD") is IBM's flagship Enterprise Report Management ("ERM") software product.
ODUG is back online!
ODUG.net is the new address of the Content Manager OnDemand User Group Forums.  We managed to save nearly all the data from the old site, plus we upgraded almost every aspect of the site.

Originally designed as a Computer Output to Laser Disc ("COLD") product to store virtually endless amounts of mainframe report output, OnDemand has expanded in flexibility and functionality to include Advanced Function Presentation ("AFP"), Portable Document Format ("PDF"), eXtensible Markup Language ("XML"), and a variety of image formats (TIFF, GIF, JPEG, PNG, etc.).
What does CMOD stand for?
CMOD's strengths are:
What is CMOD?  It stands for Content Manager OnDemand, IBM's flagship product in the Enterprise Report Management (ERM) segment of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) software market.  CMOD has consistently appeared in the upper-right-hand corner of the Gartner Magic Quadrant for archival systems since shortly after it's inception, largely because of it's rock-solid reliability, speed at ingesting data, data compression and de-duplication, and ability to easily scale to multi-petabyte sizes, and serve hundreds of thousands of users per day.  For more information, about CMOD and its strengths, visit the 'Introduction' or IBM CMOD FAQ pages.
* Extremely high-performance loads, queries, and retrievals
* Flexibility to store documents on almost any storage media with Tivoli Storage Manager
* Access via custom Windows-based "Thick Client", Websites through IBM Content Navigator, or custom web applications
* Solid reliability and lights-out operation for most installations

For more information, visit the 'Introduction' page.

ODUG is back online!

ODUG.net is the new address of the Content Manager OnDemand User Group Forums. We managed to save nearly all the data from the old site, plus we upgraded almost every aspect of the site.

What does CMOD stand for?
