Configuring IBM CMOD Cache Behavior

Inside the App Group Configuration inside the IBM CMOD Admin Client, choose the Storage Management Tab (#1) and click on the ‘Advanced’ button (#2).

In the ‘Advanced Storage Management’ window, the Migrate Data from Cache pane (#3) changes CMOD’s behaviour when data is loaded into the Application Group, with the arsload utility.

When secondary storage is configured, you can choose to migrate it at the time data is loaded.

Choosing ‘Next Cache Migration’ loads the data to cache, then migrates it when arsmaint -m is run, generally overnight.

“After ‘X’ days in cache” is the same as Next Cache Migration in that migration happens when arsmaint is executed, except the documents must have been loaded for X days first.
